In recent years, mindfulness meditation has become a mainstream activity. Recommended by the UK's National Health Service (NHS), it is well know for its ability to help us reduce and relieve stress, anxiety and depression.
Following our popular mindfulness meditation courses at our local Chelmsford based studio, Yoga at the Mill, we now offer a number of mindfulness based weekend retreats. These typically run over three of four nights.
Schedules, are generally quite intensive, since we try to introduce to many aspects of the practice. Teaching you awarness tools that you can take home to help relieve stress, anxiety, tension and depression that you may experience in every day life.

Mindfulness retreats in Norfolk - mindfulness for wellbeing.
Our stunning Norfolk venue was a new addition for our UK retreat venues in 2015. The venue consists of a set of beautiful converted barns and stables situated in the heart of the rural Norfolk countryside.
The venue, recently renovated, has been done so to a very high level - complete with under floor heating, you can expect accommodation to be warm, well equipped and ensuite.
During the long weekend we combine amazing food, a gorgeous, peaceful location, good food with a busy schedule mindfulness meditation practices. By the end of the weekend, we hope that you will be familiar with the main practices of mindfulness meditation allowing you to continue a practice when you get home. During the course of the weekend, we will also run an optional restorative yoga practice, since we find that many guest find the practice beneficial in bring awareness in to the body.
