Unless you have booked to stay extra nights, arrivals by 3pm on November 9, 2018 is recommended.
The retreat will officially start on this evening, with our first evening yoga class.
However, there is considerable flexibility in the arrival times.
We recommend leaving after 11am on November 12, 2018.
Option to stay extra nights at The Riad - arranged directly with the venue.
There are a wide range of airline that fly to marrkech ( RAK ) airport. We recommend BA, EasyJet and RyanAir. We recommend using a consolidator such as http://www.skyscanner.net/ to obtain the best priced flight.
Transfer are normally arranged on your behalf. The cost of the transfers are 15 Euros per car per way. This is paid directly to the venue upon checkout.

Why this retreat?
In a nutshell
Throughout the course of this three-night break, we'll be providing a total of six mindful yoga and meditation classes, on the roof terrace or in the beautiful central courtyard. These classes, combined with an amazingly tranquil setting, fabulous vegetarian cuisine and a 45-minute massage, will help re-balance mind and body. Beginners to yoga/meditation are very welcome
Our host accommodation
We'll take our yoga and meditation sessions on the lovely roof terrace or in the evocative central courtyard.
Our venue is a true retreat. It has just five lovely, individually designed rooms, in addition to the atmospheric central courtyard and large roof terrace, surrounded by palm trees and plants. The sound of birdsong is ever-present.
In common with the best Riads, food is super-fresh and delicious, and the service is unfailingly warm, efficient and friendly, with the owners experienced at hosting groups, and also keen yoga practitioners!
With no jet-lag, no time difference and a direct flying time from London to Morocco (with Easyjet, BA or Ryanair) of just over three hours, getting there for a long weekend is easy and provides an easy start for this wellbeing weekend.
We always remain astonished at how a short flight transports us to an entirely different world - one bursting with colour, atmosphere, and a warm welcome.
Yoga and meditation
The morning class will be accessible hatha flow yoga, with different options given for different levels of experience.

Sam says: "I initially came to yoga looking for relief from lower back pain. Before long I was attending several regular weekly classes and I had found the relief I was looking for, plus so much more. Coming to the mat, my local studio fast became my haven, and I soon became completely immersed and on my path of self-discovery in the practice of yoga.
I enjoy a mindful practice, linking movement of the body with the breath, whilst honouring where the body and mind is at that given moment. I like to create a warm, safe and supportive environment for everyone to come and practice."
She co-teaches our Guardian-recommended Mindfulness for Wellbeing weekends in Norfolk, and teaches specialist courses on yoga for better sleep.

A typical day
On this trip, your days will look something like this:
- 8.30am: Coffee, tea, light breakfast
- 9.00-10.30am: Hatha yoga
- 11:00: Brunch
- 12:30pm: Free time
- 4:00pm: Afternoon tea
- 5.30-6.30pm: Gentle yoga and meditation
- 7.30pm: Three-course evening dinner
All meals are vegetarian by default
