Our popular Wellbeing Weekends are limited to ten guests, promoting a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Hosted by gorgeous family-owned Riads, these breaks can be seen as 'taster weekends' for when time is tight or you'd like to experience a shorter retreat first. A golden opportunity to restore body & soul, where everything (flights aside) is arranged for you: easy 20-minute airport transfers, outstanding home-cooked Moroccan food, twice-daily restoring yoga and meditation. Complete yoga beginners always very welcome. Extra nights at the venue can be booked. We look forward to welcoming you on this yoga retreat weekend.

Transfer are normally arranged on your behalf. The cost of the transfers are 15 Euros per car per way. This is paid directly to the venue upon checkout.

Why this retreat?

In a nutshell

Riad Courtyard

This long weekend yoga retreat in the heart of our favourite city, Marrakech, has been designed to appeal to your senses and restore your equilibrium.

Throughout the course of this three-night break, we'll be providing a total of six mindful yoga and meditation classes, on the roof terrace are in the beautiful central courtyard. These classes, combined with an amazingly tranquil setting, fabulous vegetarian cuisine and a 45-minute massage, will help re-balance mind and body. Beginners to yoga/meditation are very welcome.

We include an integrated relaxation session, and guests leave with suggestions on how to find more balance and relaxation in everyday living.

Our host accommodation

Our setting for this Wellbeing Weekend is one of our favourite Marrakech-centre Riads, chosen for its amazingly central (a few minutes' walk from the main square), yet peaceful, location and ambiance.

A beautifully designed central courtyard (pictured above) will be the setting for our yoga classes, whilst the large roof terrace will be available for sunbathing during the day!

Our venue is a true retreat. It has just five lovely, individually designed rooms, an atmospheric central courtyard and large roof terrace, surrounded by palm trees and plants. The sound of birdsong is ever-present. 

In common with the best Riads, food is super-fresh and delicious, and the service is unfailingly warm, efficient and friendly, with the owners experienced at hosting groups, and also keen yoga practitioners!

With no jet-lag, no time difference and a direct flying time from London to Morocco (with Easyjet, BA or Ryanair) of just over three hours, getting there for a long weekend is easy and provides an easy start for this wellbeing weekend.

We always remain astonished at how a short flight transports us to an entirely different world - one bursting with colour, atmosphere, and a warm welcome.

The yoga and meditation

Yoga on the terrace
The twice-daily yoga and meditation classes will be suitable for all levels, from beginners through to experienced students. 

The small group numbers (max ten) ensure scope for plenty of individual attention.

The morning class will be dynamic hatha flow yoga, with different options given for different levels of experience. 

The evening session will be a soft combination of yoga, meditation and relaxation with yoga nidra.

Foodie treats: what to expect


Dinner at the Riad.
The food is always a highlight of these retreats: lovingly prepared by the in-house cook, authentic, fresh and delicious. 

Moroccan eating is all about slow food and the quality of local seasonal ingredients: guests often remark on tantalising smells emanating from the kitchen from early afternoon - the evening meal being prepared with flair and love. 

You will start the morning by serving a light snack of fruit, tea and coffee before commencing with the morning practice. 

After class, you'll enjoy a colourful and hearty brunch consisting of local delicacies, salads, eggs, fruits, breads and pastries. 

Afternoon tea is served daily - cakes are a delicious indulgence, made to local recipes and served with teas and coffee. We also serve fruit and nuts for guests wishing to save themselves for the evening meal!

A three course meal is served on each evening of the retreat. The food a varied, plentiful and completely vegetarian - a great way to end the day. 

Our teachers

Our teachers are chosen for their love of yoga and their fun, accessible and mindful style of teaching. Whilst each teacher is individual and their style of teaching reflects this, they teach with mindfulness, precision and compassion.

A typical day


On this trip, your days will look something like this:


  • 8.30am: Coffee, tea, light breakfast
  • 9.00-10.30am: Hatha yoga
  • 11:00: Brunch
  • 12:30pm: Free time
  • 4:00pm: Afternoon tea
  • 5.30-6.30pm: Gentle yoga and meditation
  • 7.30pm: Three-course evening dinner

Our Marrakech Wellbeing Weekend exceeded all expectations. The Riad was perfect - a wonderful atmosphere for yoga.
